Gossip Kills

A perverse man sows' strife and a whisperer separate the best of friends

It isn't what the movies make it seem to be on Gossip Girl

It's even more wicked than it feels in the moment

Just one bit of spice sprinkled on something nice

Can turn the whole plate sour

And before you know it your spirit has been consumed with vile impressions

Not only does it blur your vision of an image bearer 

Negativity consumes your mind

Plainly said there is never a grace to talk about someone who is not in your presence, the bible says that even a bird may tell them what you said

Unless you are praying to the heavens above

Be careful because gossip kills

Reputation

Purity

Relationship 

And most of all it kills your spirit

Fills it with confusion

Before you know it you're talking about your neighbor, coworker, close friends, and acquaintances more harshly until you lose all grace for anyone, including yourself

What started off innocent has turned into total slander of one's character and an assassination to yours.

I confess that I have said somethings that have hurt people and it's made my soul weak

It was a poor representation of Jesus

I was so blinded that,

Chasing the Gossip high killed my light.

Caused me to seek fig leaves to hide the shame

Cover up with blame and unnecessary rumors

Is anything too hard for the Lord?

Repent and change your wicked ways

Renew in me a clean spirit O Lord

Wash me white as snow

Its ok to not be a part of the crowd that is chatting about others.

So when they exclude you,

Take it as a blessing

Where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom

THOU SHALT NOT BEAR FALSE WITNESS AGAINST THY NEIGHBOR-

Worship and keep his commandments!
