Overflow

I've either loved too much

or not loved enough

I lost love

and I've neglected love

Shut down and given up on love

But this love is different

I give and I give

unbothered if its too much at times

Like the first time I overflowed and got

shut down

She matches my love

she loves all that I give and more

she even loves the love

sometimes Im hesitant to keep pouring

afraid of the overflow

my numbness shows

but then she looks to me for more

and pours into me

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over- Psalm 23:5
